Ibiza, Formentera

Ibiza is a party island par excellence, but Ibiza has more to offer than just party. There are beautiful landscapes and beaches on this island to discover.

Provide a one day trip to Formentera. Take the ferry (+/- 40 minutes) and enjoy this little and really quiet island with amazing beaches.

In Ibiza we had an apartment in the old town. It was nice and you live there like the locals. From there we did a foot march up to the castle. This took us around 20 minutes. On our way we passed beautiful situated and romantic restaurants with an amazing view over the sea.

In Ibiza Playa d’en Bossa is the most popular beach with famous clubs and bars. Nevertheless in Ibiza you will find all kinds of discotheques where the best Djs in the world put their records on. Entrance prices vary from 30 € to 100 €.

Furthermore we booked an excursion on a party boat from midday until evening. The price was 75 €/person. This price includes free drinks on the boat, a barbecue dinner after the boat trip and free entrance in a specific discotheque. The boat took us to Formentera and back. The boat stopped near Formentera for +/- 30 minutes so that we could swim in the sea.

One day we visited Sant Antoni to do a dive near Cala Gracio with the PADI Diving Center. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The dive was not so eventful. We saw only sea stars, one octopus, a few fishes and the sea ground was covered in algae.

Soon we will be back to discover other areas of Ibiza…
